About

As a California native, I am deeply connected to the outdoor realm. There's nothing else that I would rather do than create art with the land, plants, people, and the environment.

My work is simple, clean, functional, and sensitive. I strive to capture the spirit of place by working with the flow of the land and architecture. My palette is bold architectural plants, vibrant colors, and flowing textures. Accentuated focal points and view corridors are layered with plants, light, stone, water, and fire. 

Since 1999, I have kept my practice as a studio so I can be hands-on from the preliminary design through construction. I regard each project as a piece of art, one work at a time.
